Shaffia Sánchez Ali - CMO

Shaffia Sánchez Ali is a buyer, social communicator, journalist, advertiser, and marketing specialist. Shaffia is a professional deeply committed to understanding airport passengers around the world. She constantly seeks solutions to address findings from her latest market research and maintains regular contact with sponsors like Visa, offering investment opportunities to elevate the customer experience to the next level.

Shaffia brings over 20 years of professional experience, starting as a journalist for RCN, later becoming a procurement specialist for goods and services at a consumer goods company. In 2012, she was appointed Chief Investment Officer at IPG, the largest communications holding company in the United States. In this role, she managed advertising budgets for multinational companies such as AB InBev, Unilever, and General Motors. Her work in advertising led her to develop strategies for the traveler segment for a credit card company, making her an expert in understanding the industry, market opportunities, gaps, and unmet needs.

Diego Correa Uribe – CEO

Diego is an Industrial Engineer from Universidad de los Andes with an MBA from Iowa State University. He has over 30 years of experience in financial management and general management of consumer goods and pharmaceutical companies.

Diego decided to establish his own business during one of his trips as a U.S. government contractor. Unlike his previous travels, this trip was in economy class and without privileges, as required by U.S. government regulations for its employees. In contrast to his experiences as a corporate traveler during his 30-year career, this journey posed various challenges: he struggled to find a place to work and couldn’t locate a quiet area to relieve the stress from baggage claim and security checkpoints typical of airports.

Diego not only identified a gap in the market but was also struck by the increasing volume of airport traffic. Inspired by his personal experience and with the sole purpose of making travel more manageable—even enjoyable—Diego set out to achieve the goal of creating memorable experiences for passengers visiting VIP lounges.

Passenger Needs Research

Each of our VIP Lounges is preceded by a thorough market study that allows us to understand passengers and their needs. We allocate 5% of our operational budget to analyzing the passenger’s consumer journey.

Financing

We structure the financing for all our lounge projects and provide all the capital investment and working capital resources. We manage an impeccable system of financial management, capital investment, and control, ensuring the profitability of all our VIP Lounges.

For the construction of VIP Lounges, we perform the following activities:

Travel Programs

We develop long-term partnerships with all traveler program operators, such as Visa Travel Companion, Collinson, and Loungebuddy. We also establish long-term alliances with credit cards like Visa and MasterCard to offer special programs in our VIP Lounges to all their cardholders.
